According to our Vedic scriptures, after visiting a tirtha kshetra, one is obliged to perform necessary rites and rituals like vrata (devotion and pious observance) and Shradh Karma (paying homage to one’s ancestors) for the fulfillment of the fourfold purpose of our lives: Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha.

We were offered this opportunity five centuries ago, since then the government of Kashi and the rulers have been supporting us to provide pandits in Varanasi. We’ve been granted a special Ghat (namely, Raja Ghat) by Maharaja Peshwa, on the banks of the ganga river in varanasi in order to perform the kashi yatra rituals. We perform the rites and rituals as per the Vedic scriptures.
